Composition of the Compensation Committee - Consumer Protection Act 2054, Nepal

A Compensation Committee as follows shall be formed in each district in order to conduct inquiry into complaints filed underSection 22 and realize compensation in consideration of losses or damages suffered by the consumer:

(a) Chief District Officer - Chairperson
(b) District Attorney - Member
(c) District Medical Officer - Member
(d) A representative of the District Consumers Association designated by Government of Nepal - Member
(e) Representative, District Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Member
(f) An officer designated by Government of Nepal - Member-Secretary
