Corticosteroids Corticosteroids are broadly divided into Glucocorticoids and Mineralocorticoids. Glucocorticoids such as cortisol affect carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism, and have anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, anti-proliferative, and vasoconstrictive effects.
